The diaphragm, is the primary muscle of respiration that is responsible for creating a healthy oxygenated environment in which our lungs, brain, kidneys, liver etc. can properly function and flourish within. It is a dome shaped muscle that lies at the lower chest wall, also serving as a primary core and postural stabilizer.
